Emergency Food & Shelter Program - (256) 547-2581 Supplementing and expanding the work of local social service agencies, both nonprofit and governmental, in an effort to help people with economic (not disaster-related) emergencies. 
 
Etowah Baptist Missions Center - (256) 546-2980 Our mission is to share the good news of God's love through holistic ministry. We do this by assisting people with immediate basic needs: food, clothing, hygiene items, help with medications, utilities and rent. We also offer adult literacy and practical skills classes. Chaplains on duty for prayer and spiritual counsel. 
 
Etowah Free Community Clinic/PRN - (256) 546-3456 Provides primary health care services to residents of Etowah County for both acute and chronic conditions for patients without insurance, Medicaid, Medicare. Patient advocates provide applications, education, and assistance to the elderly, disabled, and uninsured who cannot afford to buy their prescription medicine.  

 

Etowah Community Food Bank - (256) 494-9608 Providing food to the needy through local agency distributors for families and shelters. 
 
MANNA - (256) 543-5876 Maintaining the physical and emotional well-being of the elderly homebound citizens by providing a daily adequate, hot meal that meets the dietary needs of the recipient.  

 

Mental Health Alabama of Etowah County - (256) 547-6888 ext 115 Working for mental health and victory over mental illness, promoting mental health, preventing mental illness, and improving the care and treatment of the mentally ill. 


 Community Action of Etowah County  ​   ​ (256) 546-9271 Provides supportive services and aids families with direct assistance or with referrals to other agencies for Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and other benefits.
