Comfort Food

We all have that one food that makes us especially happy, our comfort food. My comfort food is cheesecake. I know it’s not a healthy choice, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to enjoy a slice. Since I’m practicing social distancing to help stop the spread of COVID19, I won’t be having cheesecake anytime soon. Many of us are in the same position. We are finding ourselves at home with whatever grocery items we have on hand or were able to pick up as things were quickly disappearing from the shelves. A lot of people who were used to eating out will now be preparing meals at home. To help our clients and community with easy home-cooked meal options, The Council on Aging has started a Facebook group, Etowah COA Recipe Exchange. We are encouraging people to share easy recipes with staple ingredients. To share your recipes or discover new ones, please join our page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/238525457276426/
